MailerLite pricing is shaped by subscriber count, billing term and plan features. The headline starting price is only one part of the decision: check how your active subscribers are counted, what happens when you reach a limit, and whether a needed feature sits behind a paid tier.

MailerLite plans at a glance

MailerLite currently lists Free, Comfort and Power plans, with a custom Enterprise option. The Free plan is listed for up to 250 active subscribers and 2,500 monthly emails, with caps on some features. Paid-plan prices depend on subscriber tier and billing selection; Enterprise pricing is custom. Check the pricing page for your current quote and included features.

The provider updated its Free plan limits effective June 16, 2026. Because limits and pricing can change, treat third-party summaries and old screenshots cautiously and use MailerLite’s own pricing page as the source of truth.

The useful comparison is not just the monthly charge. Estimate active subscribers, expected sends and the features you need today, then repeat the calculation for a realistic six- or twelve-month audience size. Use the provider’s own checkout to confirm currency, billing term, tax treatment and the price at that size; do not assume a starting price applies to every list.

Costs that can catch you out

Estimate the number of active subscribers, not just the number of people you expect to email this month. Consider whether duplicate, inactive or suppressed contacts count toward your account under the provider’s current definition. Also estimate campaign frequency: a 2,500-send allowance can be consumed quickly if you mail a sizeable list more than once.

Check renewal pricing, monthly versus annual billing, currency and VAT treatment in the checkout flow. List growth can move an account into a higher price band. If you need multiple seats, more automations, landing pages, websites or digital products, include those plan gates in your comparison.

Use this simple estimate: monthly campaign sends = the number of recipients per campaign multiplied by campaigns per month, plus automation messages. For example, a 240-person list receiving four newsletters uses about 960 campaign sends before welcome or follow-up emails. It remains below the Free send cap, but the same list is close to the 250-active-subscriber audience cap. Both numbers matter.

How to judge value

Write down the smallest feature set that meets your needs, then compare the matching plan—not a competitor’s free tier against MailerLite’s paid tier. Include the time needed to migrate, build templates and keep consent records. The cheapest plan is poor value if a missing feature forces manual work or another subscription.
